…then you need to be at the Globe Café!
In normal times, we meet 7.00-9.30pm on Mondays during term time at Jesmond Parish Church. A meal is available at 7:00pm for £2.50 cash. Refreshments and entry to the café is free. We also organise day trips, weekends away, conversational English classes and a café programme during the summer holidays.
BUT, we are in a special time because of Covid-19. All our activities are currently online. We run a weekly Globe Café and a GlobePlus event on Zoom every Monday for chit chats, games and deeper conversations. To participate, see Calendar for more details.
We also help link up international students with local hosts for friendship and conversations through phone or video chats.
